Digital Finance "Plus": digital finance innovations as a means

CGAP's Digital finance “plus” is the use of mobile money and branchless banking to make basic services accessible to poor people. CGAP has identified 55 services in digital finance “plus” that are using mobile payments to reach their customers. Most of these services are located in Tanzania and Kenya. These services range from agriculture, energy to education, health and water. Clients can access these services and pay for them using the models pay-as-you-go or lease-to-own.
