Senior Compliance Officer


Job description

As a Senior Compliance Officer you will be responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating compliance and integrity risks within the Company. This entails a wide range of Compliance related tasks and responsibilities.

You will report to the General Counsel (GC) who is also heading the Legal Department and the Corporate Secretariat, but you will also be responsible for the Compliance reporting directly to the Supervisory Board and supervisors. In addition, you will identify and address compliance issues to the Executive Board, in close consultation with the GC and the Risk- and Internal Audit Department. You will be the first point of contact for Privacy related issues. The position requires limited travel to countries where Triple Jump is active. The position is based in Amsterdam. Candidates must possess a valid working permit for the European Union.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and advise on compliance & regulatory policies and developments;
  • Develop, maintain and update such policies and procedures in line with (new) regulatory requirements;
  • Compliance monitoring and record keeping;
  • Identifying compliance risks and regulatory requirements;
  • Conduct risk assessments, including risk assessments on KYC & AML;
  • Further development and strengthening of the compliance program;
  • Enhancing risk mitigation measurements and controls;
  • Conducting and providing compliance training to the business;
  • Prepare and/or respond to regulatory inquiries;
  • Compliance reporting to the Executive Board/Supervisory Board;
  • Collaboration with external compliance advisors and management of compliance related projects (in collaboration with external parties).


Job Requirements:

  • A university degree in legal, business or compliance studies;
  • Strong knowledge of EU financial regulation related to financial markets, especially relating to asset management and advisory services (MiFID and AIFMD);
  • Relevant experience in a compliance function (> 5 years) and KYC and AML assessments.
  • Strong understanding of the asset management industry
  • Capable of independent decision-making;
  • Team player, with countervailing power;
  • Culturally sensitive;
  • Affinity with Triple Jump’s mission and vision;
  • Fluent in English, good knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, or French preferred;
  • No disqualifications that would prevent successful supervisory pre-employment screening.
